Wider reading can help deepen your awareness and understanding in different areas of your courses. It can set you up for continued study or work in a particular area. Wider reading also helps you to develop your critical thinking skills surrounding a variety of issues and can really help to impress admissions tutors when applying to university, demonstrating the passion and dedication you have for your chosen subject.
Below, you will find a list from Pixl as to some suggested wider reading for a variety of subjects that you may pick at university. You will also find a list of the wider reading that has been suggested by each of our subject teachers, many of which we currently have in The Sixth Form Library.
